You don’t need the blood for this quest, you only need the Holy Tible and a multi tool (or shovel+rope+pick).

You also don’t need to do that part with 3 different paths, one north, south and one to your east with purple fire (skip the parts with the vocation stones and the levers). Just walk through that east path and keep going.
