Rods are only used by Druids when equipped in the weapon slot in their Inventory, they do damage and consume a small amount of mana . Sorcerers can not use Rods. They use Wands.

Rods are used with only one hand, can be equipped with a shield or Spellbook and shoot every turn.

Unlike normal weapons, some rods can fire at a distance, others only at SQM around the player.

Rods cause magical damage from Death, Earth or Ice depending on the Rod. The player must be alert, as some creatures are immune or have great resistance to these types of damage.
